Hi, I'm Kristen Cook—a singer, actor, improvisor, writer, composer, producer and creative coach based in Los Angeles.

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to storytelling through music, comedy, and performance. Today, I'm fortunate to have a career doing exactly that—collaborating with incredible artists, lending my voice to meaningful projects, and helping performers discover their own authentic voice.

My work has taken me to live improv stages and theatrical productions, film sets, and recording studios around the world.

 

I've had the privilege of performing alongside some of the industry's most talented artists, including improvising with Wayne Brady, duet-ing with Rivers Cuomo and Weezer, and coaching vocals for Rick Rubin's Grammy-nominated audiobook, The Creative Act. From my professional home studio, I've voiced national television campaigns, animation, podcasts, e-learning, branded content, theme songs, and countless projects, connecting with audiences of all ages. As a writer and composer, my original musical Dandy: Man of Year became the inspiration for the Emmy Award-winning web series celebrating the LGBTQAI+ community, Dandyland, for which I composed the theme song and voiced a number of characters. Projects in development include an animated series for inspiring kindness and humility through comedy, and my country band, State Road West, is set to record our debut album.
